Skilled Capital is an ACT Government training initiative that provides subsidised training for the Canberra community to access quality training and fill critical skills needs areas.

Skilled Capital Funding is released by the ACT Government with allocations to qualifications and the number of student places varies each year. Places are always limited. Please speak with the Cple team regarding current availability of this type of funding.

Places for this qualification are limited each year and often fill early.

How do I know if I’m eligible for Skilled Capital Funding? 

To be eligible for Skilled Capital funding, you must, at the time of enrolment, be:

Meet citizenship, residency, or visa requirements
Live or work in the ACT
Meet residency or visa requirements
Be at least 17 years old
Not currently at secondary school or college

NOTE: If you are not eligible for Skilled Capital Funding, you can still begin your studies under Fee-for-Service and later transition to User Choice Funding if you gain permanent employment in the ACT.

What does it cost to study under Skilled Capital?

If you’re eligible, you’ll pay a one-off Student Administration Fee, set by the ACT Government. This fee covers Cple’s enrolment and administration services.

 The ACT Government funds the remaining course cost through Skilled Capital.

Current Skilled Capital fee:
• BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills: $150

– Payment plans available
To make this even more manageable, Cple offers flexible payment plans for the administration fee.
