Below is a quick overview of the most common funding pathways available through Cple.
User Choice* Funding
A government-subsidised traineeship program available to people who are employed, or seeking permanent employment, in an ACT workplace.
User Choice supports practical, workplace-based learning and is one of the most popular pathways for both learners and employers.
Eligible students pay only a Student Administration Fee, and the Government funds the remaining training cost.
*Australian Apprenticeships in the ACT are funded by the ACT and Australian Governments.
Skilled Capital Funding
A government-funded initiative that provides subsidised training for eligible ACT residents.
Skilled Capital helps people gain nationally recognised qualifications that support career development and job readiness.
Places are limited and not available for every qualification, so eligibility and availability can vary throughout the year.
Skilled Capital is an ACT Government training initiative.
Fee-for-Service Funding
A self-funded option where individuals or employers cover the cost of the qualification. Fee-for-Service training can be paid unit by unit, and affordable payment plans are available.
This option is suitable for students who are not eligible for government funding or who prefer to begin their studies immediately.
